In Case of Death, Illness or Other Distress

Your Brother Knights will be close by your side and ready to help when illness or some other sort of trauma touches a Knight or a member of his family. Please remember to notify the Grand Knight,  or the Deputy Grand Knight,  when prayer and/or assistance is needed.

The KofC Insurance Program

Lack of adequate financial resources is a great threat to family life. Now, more than ever, the Knights of Columbus continues to address the temporal needs of Catholic families, especially through one of the most highly-rated insurance programs in the world. The success of the Order's insurance program is not only the result of sound and prudent business judgment, but is a direct reflection of the fraternal purposes of the Knights of Columbus. The Order's conservative approach to its insurance operations ensures the security of its members and their dependents. This conservative approach is reflected not only in the Order's business and investment strategy, but also in its traditional life insurance, fixed annuities, and long-term care insurance products, and the manner in which they are marketed. For additional information or to review your current insurance coverage, I am ready to assist as your Fraternal Benefits Counselor .
God Bless,

We Remember To Pray For The Deceased

Blessed are those who have died in the Lord.  They will find
rest from their labors, for their good deeds go with them.
                                                                       (Rev. 14:13)

God of love, the peace of heaven is your gift.
Grant forgiveness to our brothers and sisters
who have died in Christ; free them from their sins.
Make them one with Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns
with You and the Holy Spirit, for ever and ever.  Amen.

Daily Prayer For The Dead

Immortal God, holy Lord, Father and Protector of all you have created, we raise our hearts to you today for those who have passed out of this mortal life.

In your loving mercy, Father of men, be pleased to receive them in your heavenly company, and forgive the failings and faults they may have done from human frailty.

Your only Son, Christ, our Savior, suffered so cruelly that He might deliver them from the second death.  By His merits may they share in the glory of His victory over sin and death.

For all the faithful who have died we pray, but in particular for those dear to us, parents, relatives, and friends.  Nor do we forget all who did good to us while on earth, who helped us by their prayers, sacrifice, and example.  We pray also for any who may have done us harm, and stand in special need of your forgiveness.

May the merit and prayers of our Virgin Mother, Mary, and those of all your angels and saints, speak of us and assist them now.  This we ask in Christ's name.  Amen.

You are, O God, the creator and savior of all the faithful.  Forgive your servants all their sins and by our loving prayers grant them the pardon they always hoped for.  You live and reign forever with God the Father in the union of the Holy Spirit.  Amen.

Lord, (name)'s, death has hit me hard.  I am more aware of my own mortality, something I do not like to consider.

Death seems so final in the world as I know it.  All my beliefs in eternity falter when I come this close to death.  I hope in You.  Your power over death and the rewards of Your promised kingdom are the only consolation I can find.

Keep my faith and the faith of all who loved (name) strong.  Give us that same strength of consolation and understanding which Your mother, Mary, received from Your friend, John, when he held her and consoled her at Your death.

Knowing Your mercy, I ask You to grant eternal rest to (name) and to my other relatives and friends who have passed from this life.  Grant also the strength of Your grace to all of us who remain.  Amen.

A plenary indulgence, applicable only to the Souls in
Purgatory, is granted to the faithful who, from the 1st
to the 8th of November, devoutly visit a cemetery and
pray for the departed.  On other days of the year, the
indulgence is partial.
