LifeNotes - March 2008

Dear Friends,

Have you ever complained about your representative to the US House or Senate regarding their vote on particular Pro-Life legislation?  Have you bemoaned why our country spends our hard earned money for things we oppose such as abortion, research that destroys innocent human life, funding pro-abortion groups, and propagandizing our children with education contrary to our beliefs?

Rarely do we have an opportunity to act and impact the outcome of these ethical issues.

Now is such an opportunity.  I am speaking of nominating a 100% Pro-Life voice to be on the ballot for US Senate in November, one who vows to protect every human life from conception to natural death, one who will speak and vote for us, because he is one of us.

This year Pro-Life Virginian's have an opportunity to elect a strong Pro-Life conservative to the US Senate.  . . .  [T]his nomination process is a State Convention in Richmond on May 31, 2008.  The only way you can "vote" for [a pro-life candidate] to be [a major party's] candidate for US Senate is by attending the state convention.  There will be no local primary.  The candidate with the most support at the state convention will become the nominee.

So, I am asking you to join me and sacrifice a day of your time-- the Saturday after Memorial Day-- to trek to Richmond (usually there are buses and carpools), participate in the convention and vote for a pro-life voice to defend the innocents.

Your inaction will also have an impact.  It will mean that the only names on the ballot will be "Pro-Choice."

Now is the time to act to nominate a Pro-Life voice for US Senator, one who will speak for those who have no voice, the defenseless.  Your vote on May 31 will speak volumes to protect these innocent lives.  . . .

TO ATTEND THE VIGINIA CONVENTION ON MAY 31:

If you live in Fairfax County:

Deadline for filing is March 29 at noon.  Please print and fill out the attached filing form, check off the square  to go to the Virginia Republican Convention on May 31, and if you wish write a check for $35 to help cover the cost of the convention (this is voluntary).  Send it to the appropriate Magesterial Chair address on page two or Party Headquarters.

Please pass this e-mail to other Pro-Life friends in Virginia.
