KOVAR
KOVAR Weekend this year is 15-18 April 2010
To all District 14 Grand Knights and KOVAR chairmen:
KOVAR weekend is fast approaching. It will take place on the weekend of
Thursday, 15 April through Sunday, 18 April.
I have received one request for a joint Tootsie Roll
order between St. John Bosco Council (my council) and Springfield Council for
a total of 25 cases of Tootsie Rolls. The minimum order for free shipping is
33 cases. If we can get one or more councils in the District to join in on
this order, we can reach the minimum.
Beside the Tootsie Rolls, you can also order the yellow
collection cans and paper hats. Please let me know if you need these items.
Please contact me at
dpraeger@msn.com or
at 703-451-7530 if you are interested in participating in this joint order. I
plan to make the order during the first week in March, so please send me your
requirements as soon as possible.
Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions about
KOVAR.
Vivat Jesus,
Dirck Praeger
District 14 KOVAR Chairman
Coming Soon are KOVAR Goals for District 14 for 2009- 2010
Help Our Disabled Citizens by designating KOVAR on your CFC or United Way Pledge CardsBrother Knights, It is time for the annual CFC, State, and United Way Campaigns for 2009-2010. This year the numbers for KOVAR for these campaigns have changed. All CFC campaigns have the same number. The old number 5426 is no longer valid. Here are the new numbers and the individual campaigns to which it applies:
Combined Federal Campaigns - CFC: #42569 United Way Campaigns in the Greater D.C. Area (Can include corporate and public sector campaigns) - #8838 These campaigns provide a great source for funds for our KOVAR budget goals. I just need to collect a copy of your donation slips and turn them in to KOVAR. This can be done at anytime during the year.
